The History of Glitter is a 60-minute interactive performance lecture. Exploring the past, present and future of micro-plastics. The lecture, workshops with an audience, to build a shimmering time-line of glitter - from it's historical formation, to a queer tool of celebration, through to it's extreme yet unseen impact on the Earth.
The History of Glitter also explores the notion of 'Virus', and it's myriad of Queer/LGBTQI+ meanings: historically, presently and speculative, fiction-science views of 'Virus'.
This Live Artwork, delivers a rapid-fire, iridescent, linear yet abstracted lecture on queer survival, fragility and deep-time vs. shallow time.
